Photography at Take A Picture

The word "photography" is based on the Greek words phos ("light"), and graphê ("drawing"), together meaning "drawing with light". So essentially, all we are doing is capturing an image that has been drawn with light. By manipulating the light we create a desirable image. We choose to capture THAT moment and freeze it as an image to be revisited time and time again. These moments create an impression and leave us with a memory. As the photographer we need to think about why we are taking THIS picture, what do we want to achieve??? How do we want you, our viewer, to feel??? When you, as our viewer, see this image, what do you see??? What do you feel??? Does it move you??? When you look at our images you need to ask yourself these questions. What gives life to a photograph? In everything there are special qualities and nuances. Those little things that make the person who they are. Here at Take A Picture it is our job to capture these nuances, these expressions, these feelings, the inner person and add that sparkle to your images to bring them to life.
